Built for

Specialty retailers, resale operators and consignment businesses tracking inventory item by item.

The job to improve

Keep inventory, ownership and payout obligations connected from intake through sale.

Console use cases

See Console in a real workflow.

Start with the situation that sounds most like your team. Each example shows the work this product helps coordinate.

01 / Consignment shops

Follow a consigned item through payout.

A customer leaves an item for your shop to sell on their behalf.

  1. Record the owner, condition and terms
  2. Track the exact unit until it sells
  3. Connect the sale to the consignor balance
What gets clearer

Your team can see the item, its owner and the payout obligation in one record.

02 / Specialty retailers

Keep a one-of-a-kind item available in the right places.

The same item is on your shop floor and listed online. You need to know when it is no longer available.

  1. Create one unit-level inventory record
  2. Manage Shopify and eBay listing stock
  3. Record a Shopify order or Clover counter sale
What gets clearer

The sold unit is removed from available inventory and stays tied to its sale.

03 / Electronics & resale operators

Know the history behind a used device.

Two devices may be the same model but have different condition, cost and owners.

  1. Record each device separately
  2. Keep its cost, owner and location attached
  3. Match the sale to the exact unit
What gets clearer

The cost and ownership behind each sold device remain traceable.

What it does

One record for the whole business.

Intake to shelf

Receive stock, record its cost and condition, and put it on the shelf or the shop floor in one flow.

Inventory by the unit

Know where every single item is, how long it has been there, what it cost and who owns it.

Catalogue and products

Maintain product descriptions alongside individual units, conditions and ownership records.

Orders and items

Tie sales to the exact units that sold and keep their cost and ownership context with them.

Vendors, consignors, payouts

Track what you owe and to whom, and pay consignors and vendors without a spreadsheet.

Money, reports and audit

Reports you can close the month on, with a full activity trail behind every number.

How it works

The record everything else relies on.

Stock comes in

Intake records each unit, its cost and its owner.

It’s ready to sell

Keep the item’s description, location and availability on record.

It sells

The order is matched to the unit, wherever it sold.

Everyone is paid

Payouts and reports follow from the same record.

Questions

Good to know.

Who is Console for?

Resellers and consignment businesses — shops where stock is tracked unit by unit rather than by the pallet.

Do I need Console to use Relay or Pulse?

Relay works with your Shopify store on its own. Pulse reads Console as its system of record, so the two are designed to run together.

Can my team use it on the shop floor?

Yes. Console is built to work on a phone or tablet as well as a desk.

Does it handle consignment?

Yes. Consignors, their stock and their payouts are part of the core product.

Which sales channels connect?

Console currently connects Shopify, eBay and Clover POS. Their workflows differ: Shopify handles listings, stock and orders; eBay handles listings and stock; Clover brings in-store sales into inventory.
