STACKKNACK RELAY

Sell from your suppliers’ shelves as if they were your own.

Relay is supplier and order orchestration for teams fulfilling through multiple sources. It keeps supplier stock live in your store, promises every order to the right supplier, and moves on by itself when one says no — or says nothing.

Built for

Shopify retailers fulfilling orders through their own stock and participating suppliers.

The job to improve

Reduce manual order routing, confirmation chasing and supplier handoffs.

Relay use cases

See Relay in a real workflow.

Start with the situation that sounds most like your team. Each example shows the work this product helps coordinate.

01 / Multi-supplier retailers

Route a new Shopify order to available stock.

You sell products held by more than one supplier and need a clear fulfillment commitment for every order.

  1. Receive the Shopify order
  2. Reserve stock with an eligible source
  3. Ask the supplier to confirm and ship
What gets clearer

Your team can see who has the order and whether fulfillment is moving.

02 / Retail operations teams

Keep an order moving after a supplier declines.

The first supplier cannot fulfill the order, or does not respond in time.

  1. Record the decline or missed response
  2. Move to the next eligible source
  3. Track the new confirmation
What gets clearer

The exception and the new handoff are recorded without another manual chase.

03 / Retailers with their own stock

Offer a returned item before supplier stock.

You have one sellable return on your own shelf while suppliers also hold stock for the same product.

  1. Bring the return into available stock
  2. Offer your own unit first
  3. Use a supplier when your shelf cannot fulfill
What gets clearer

Your own stock gets the first chance to fulfill the next order.

Illustrative scenarios. Current connections and setup depend on the product and your workflow.

What it does

Everything between the order and the doorstep.

Supplier stock in view

Relay refreshes stock from connected suppliers so your team can work from current availability.

A clear inventory commitment

Each order reserves a specific unit with a supplier, keeping the fulfillment commitment on record.

A portal your suppliers will use

Suppliers confirm the order, print the label and ship — from one simple screen.

Automatic re-routing

A decline, or silence, moves the promise to the next supplier. Nobody has to chase.

Returns that sell first

Returned items land on your own shelf, and your shelf is always offered before a supplier’s.

Statements every Monday

One clear statement per supplier each week, so settling up is never a spreadsheet job.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I need to hold any stock?

No. Relay supports businesses that sell stock held by their suppliers. If you do have your own stock — including returns — Relay can offer it first.

What happens if a supplier doesn’t respond?

Relay treats silence like a decline. After the response window it moves the order to the next best supplier automatically, and records what happened.

What do my suppliers need to do?

Confirm orders, print the label and ship. They do it from the Relay supplier portal; there is nothing for them to install.

Which store platforms does Relay work with?

Shopify today. Talk to us if you sell somewhere else.

Do I need Console or Pulse?

No. Relay works with Shopify on its own. You can start with supplier fulfillment as a single workflow.

Does StackKnack find suppliers for me?

The current workflow starts with suppliers you already work with. We assess how their stock and fulfillment process can connect to Relay.
